GOLDEN TEMPLE | WAGAH BORDER | JALLIANWALA BAGH
The Golden Temple is a gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, It is the preeminent spiritual site of Sikhism. The gurdwara is built around a man-made pool that was completed by the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, in 1577. In 1604, Guru Arjan placed a copy of the Adi Granth in Harmandir Sahib.
Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and ‘memorial of national importance which is close to the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar, preserved in memory of those who were wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Baisakhi, 13 April 1919.
The Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on the Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drills, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.

Tibetan Monastery is one of the oldest and famous place in Manali. Due to a huge number of Tibetan peoples settling in Kullu Manali. It is not only a place of worship but also a Tibetan culture center. The Tibetan Monasteries also run a Thanks School of Arts and a Carpet-weaving Center to preserve ancient Tibetan art. The paintings inside these buildings depict events from Lord Buddha's life and the Kalchakra, i.e. the wheel of life fixed on the wall of the monastery shows the human life cycle.
Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungari Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manāli. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, one of the 5 Pandava brothers of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. It was constructed in the 16th century, is one of the best places to visit in Manali.
Solang valley is also known as the 'Snow Valley,' which is famous for hosting various winters adventure sports like skiing, parachuting, paragliding, trekking, and mountaineering. Solang Valley derives its name from the combination of the words Solang and Nallah. This dazzling valley is one of the most picturesque sights in Manali and is located at an average altitude of 2,560 meters above sea level.
Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern end of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. Enjoy a breathtaking drive to Snow Point on the road to Rohtang Pass, Known for its scenic beauty Rohtang Pass holds strategic importance for India. Manali-Leh Highway a part of NH 21 transverses Rohtang Pass. The name Rohtang means ‘ground of corpses’ due to the number of people who lost their lives trying to cross it. Besides Lahaul and Spiti Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and the valley of Leh. The Pass offers beautiful sights of glaciers peaks Lahaul Valley and the Chandra River. Manikaran Gurudwara, located in the small town of Manikaran, is one of the most prominent places of worship for Sikhs. Mentioned in the 12th Guru Khalsa, the Gurudwara has three legendary hot springs. It is believed that the water in these hot springs has the ability to cure the most complex of diseases.
Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Often referred to as the 'Queen of Hill Stations, Shimla is perched at a height of around 2000 meters above sea level. Besides its natural beauty, what attracts hordes of tourists to this place is the opportunity to indulge in various adventure activities, such as trekking, mountaineering, and skiing. Mall Road is a nice place to hang out in the evenings. Jakhu hill is the highest peak in Shimla, featuring an ancient temple, trees & a huge statue of Hindu god Hanuman.
