The Golden Temple is a gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, It is the preeminent spiritual site of Sikhism. The gurdwara is built around a man-made pool that was completed by the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, in 1577. In 1604, Guru Arjan placed a copy of the Adi Granth in Harmandir Sahib.

Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and ‘memorial of national importance which is close to the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar, preserved in memory of those who were wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Baisakhi, 13 April 1919.

The Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on the Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drills, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause.

Tibetan Monastery is one of the oldest and famous place in Manali. Due to a huge number of Tibetan peoples settling in Kullu Manali. It was constructed in the 16th century, is one of the best places to visit in Manali.

Solang Valley derives its name from the combination of the words Solang and Nallah.
