After Morning Breakfast proceeds to Day trip to Osian. Surrounded by golden sand dunes and hamlets, Osian, located 65 km north of Jodhpur, is famous for its Hindu and Jain temples and is known as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan due to the erotic sculptures on the temples. A prominent trading centre on the Silk Route from the 8th to the 12th century AD, Osian was also a major pilgrimage site during the Gurjara Pratihara dynasty, which ruled much of northern India from the 6th to the 11th century and was known as Upakesapura.A famous pilgrimage site of the Oswal Jain community, most of the shrines and temples in Osian lie in ruins today. Among the most famous tourist attractions of the village are the 16 temples that include Sachiya Mata temple, Sun temple, Mahaveera Jain temple, etc dating back to the 8th to the 11th century. With their intricate carvings, the Sun Temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the Jain temple dedicated to Lord Mahavir stand out in their grace and architecture. Apart from the temples, Osian is also popular for camel safaris. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs). Set on on a rocky outcrop, the fort overlooks the walled city, where many buildings are painted the city’s iconic shade of blue.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of the erstwhile Marwar capital. From the imposing Meherangarh Fort to the delicately wrought jharokhas of the Havelis, the citadel has some of the finest examples of Rajput masonry. At the foot of the fort lies the Jaswant Thada, a richly carved white marble cenotaph. later Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, which is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace was called Chittar Palace during its construction due to the use of stones drawn from the Chittar hill where it is located. Ground for the foundations of the building was broken on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943. The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine. Take an afternoon jeep safari ( AT OWN COST ) to the picturesque Bishnoi village to experience rustic Rajasthan life. Ranakpur is a village located in Desuri tehsil near Sadri town in the Pali district of Rajasthan in western India. It is located between Jodhpur and Udaipur. 162 km from Jodhpur and 91 km from Udaipur, in a valley on the western side of the Aravalli Range.

Udaipur, formerly the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, is a city in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it’s set around a series of artificial lakes and is known for its lavish royal residences. City Palace, overlooking Lake Pichola, is a monumental complex of 11 palaces, courtyards and gardens, famed for its intricate peacock mosaics.
02 NIGHTS STAY AT UDAIPUR
MEALS: BREAKFAST AT UDAIPUR (DAY 06 & 07)
After breakfast, we will visit City Palace complex and the shores of the Lake Pichola. The City Palace was built as the capital of the Sisodia Rajput family by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh in 1559 after he moved from Chittor. Situated on the east bank of the Pichola Lake, it has many palaces inside its complex. Believed to be the largest of its kind in Rajasthan, the splendid building represents a perfect combination of the Mughal and Rajasthani architectural styles. Later, we will visit the mysterious palaces and beautiful gardens. Continue our drive we will head towards the Saheliyon ki Badi, the Garden of the Maids of Honour for the Royal Ladies of Mewar. The rest of the afternoon is free for leisure or you can enjoy a boat ride on the striking Lake Pichola, sailing past the stunning City Palace, Jag Mandir Island, and the famous Jag Niwas Island. Udaipur City Palace is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola. This majestic City Palace is the most-visited tourist attraction of Udaipur and often distinguished as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Initially, Maharana Udai Singh built this superb wonder, but the present form of the Palace is the result of subsequent additions by his successors. City Palace has several gates that are known as "Pols". 'Bara Pol' (Great Gate) is the main gate to the City Palace complex that will take you to the first courtyard. On passing 'Bara Pol', you will come across a triple arched gate, which is known as 'Tripolia'. Between these two gates, you would see eight marble arches or Toranas, where Kings used to weigh themselves with gold and silver. Besides Tripolia, there is an arena where elephant fights were staged. Across 'Tripolia', you would enter the 'Elephant Gate' or the 'Hathi Pol'
Take a morning tour of Nathdwara. This most revered 17th-century shrine is dedicated to Shrinathji or Lord Krishna and attracts thousands of pilgrims. Foreign tourists are not permitted inside and photography is prohibited. Nathdwara town is also famous as the Apollo of Mewar. In the town of Nathdwara, the Shrinathji temple is the centre of attraction, but the town is also famous for its 'pichhwai' paintings, handmade terracottas, ivory articles and milk-made sweets. During the times of Holi, Diwali and Janmashtmi, people throng in large numbers. Apart from festivals like Holi and Janmashtmi, Annakutta (Linked to Krishna lifting Govardhana Hill) is a major festival that is celebrated in the temple. Nathdwara is known for Pichwais (Large paintings on cloth depicting legends from the life of Lord Krishna ) and Haweli music (devotional music, akin to dhrupad singing with composition meant for various seasons, festivals and sections of the day, evening Back to Udaipur.
