Jaisalmer holds a major place in the tourism landscape of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City," it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. The latest attractions are Golden Fort – a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the very few living forts in the world, as nearly one fourth the population of the city still resides within the Fort followed by a visit to Jain Mandir – craved in yellow sandstones dedicated to Jain hermits known as Tirthankars. Later we visit Patwon ki Haweli Museum – Palace built in the early 1800s, now a museum featuring intricate carvings, furniture, and artwork and see Nathmalji ki haveli.

Udaipur City Palace is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. The Maharanas lived and administered their kingdom from this palace, thereby making the palace complex an important historic landmark.
