Udaipur City Palace is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola. It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Day trip to Nathdwara, This holy town is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the Shrinathji, a 12th century "infant" incarnation idol (murti) of Krishna. It is located in the Aravalli hills, on the banks of the Banas River in Rajsamand District, 48 kilometres north-east of Udaipur. Eklingji Temple was built in the 8th century. It is a prime spot for musing about the Lord Shri Ekling Ji. It is believed to be the ruling god of Mewar Princely State and the Maharana rules as his Dewan.
