Day trip to Nathdwara, This holy town is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the Shrinathji, a 12th century "infant" incarnation idol (murti) of Krishna. It is located in the Aravalli hills, on the banks of the Banas River in Rajsamand District, 48 kilometres north-east of Udaipur. Eklingji Temple was built in the 8th century. It is a prime spot for musing about the Lord Shri Ekling Ji. It is believed to be the ruling god of Mewar Princely State and the Maharana rules as his Dewan.
